The college offers a broad range of educations within agriculture, horticulture, forestry, floristry, equine and environment.

At the Green Academy we teach from 4 different campuses around Aarhus (Beder, Malling, Vejlby campuses and college farm “Bredballegård” with a mixed production of milk, beef, pork, poultry etc.)

The number of staff is app. 120 (including 50 faculty/lecturers), and the annual student en-rollment is app. 550 full-time study equivalents equaling some 2.000-2.500 individuals. Finally, we run a boarding school with 410 beds in single and double rooms, and a canteen offering full board meals.

For quite many years, the Green Academy has been intensively involved in international pro-jects and cooperation. Every year we send some 30-50 students abroad for shorter or longer internships, and we receive about the same number of incoming students and teachers.

Further, the college has a strong tradition for involvement in international projects abroad in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry, various development agencies etc.

As part of our strategy for internationalization, ECVET is in the center of our attention, and we are in the process of describing a number of our course programs in terms of ECVET concepts.

[/ppmtoggle][ppmtoggle title=" Helicon"] Helicon offers up-to-date agricultural vocational education in the south-east of The Netherlands. Sustainability, entrepreneurship and innovation are our core values. We really want to make a difference for our students. By offering good education, strong guidance and real attention.

Four of our schools offer secondary vocational education and nine other schools offer intermediate vocational education and customized courses. Around 900 employees make this possible for more than 7000 students.

Helicon has expertise in agriculture, horticulture, animal care, food, environment, water & nature management, et cetera.

We encourage our students to broaden their horizon by going on an internship abroad. We strongly believe that it expands their vocational and communication skills and personal growth.
Each year, approximately 350 of our students perform their internship abroad (inside and outside Europe). International activities are a part of our educational program: We want our students to take part in (international) competitions, excursions, and exchange programs.

The School is a part of UNEFA( Union of Agricultural Family Schools) and it joins 27 EFAS in Spain. In addition , it is integrated in MFR International Association ( Maisons Familiars Rurals) schools that originated this training system.
The main feature of our education system is the School- Company, similar to the German Dual Training. This system has been applied since the beginning of school. This methodology has led to a employability and, also it is a great relationship with companies of the agriculture and forestry sector in our region.
Currently, we have agreements with over 600 companies. The most important are Public institutions ( Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Environment) and large companies.
