Job in Drones World Part 2

Firstable, I have to notice that the app version of JobToDron has changed respect from the Part 1 of the new, making easier the task of knowing how can someone find a job with this website.

Anyway, this part 2 of this large new is about the web version from a computer view. I have to claim that it is absolutely visual and intuitive. The main page is destined for inviting us to join as a company, an operator or a pilot with three coloured buttons.

In the up side of the web there are some other options like “Cómo funciona”, “Suscripciones”, “FAQS”, “Quiénes somos”, “Contacto” and “Iniciar sesión”.

To sum it all up, the important service that JobToDron offers is finding what the interested one is searching. If you are a driver that wants to find a job, you can register and they will bring you an offer from a company, for example. Once it is clear, there are many options of contracting the JobToDron’s services.

If you click on “Suscripciones”, it will appear a similar page to the first one in which, depending on our identity (company, operator or driver), we will discover distinct prices. If you are interested about it as a company, the service of finding drivers or operators is 0,00 €*. It is logical because the demand has to be economically-well treated in order to encourage companies to register and, in this way, have more possibilities of making offer and demand find each other. From the other side, if you are an operator, there are three types of fees: first one, 0,00 € and you will count on having your perfil and views to the basic lists of possible jobs; second one costs 9,99 €, named “Básico”, offers the same services plus more information about other people and companies among the principle services; and the final one, 14,99 €, named “Premium”, which adds the all previous services plus immediacy in the communication of the remarkable news. If you are a driver, the fees are more or less the same utilities but prices change. “Gratuito” costs 0,00 €, “Básico” has a price of 2,99 € and “Premium” costs 4,99 €.

Regarding “Contact” button, it is more useful than the app version one, because there we can find information like the telephone number, the address (located in Zaragoza) and an email. There is the possibility of sending an specific problem by the same formulary we could find in the app version.

On balance, if you are one of these three people, this web is one of the most likely sites so that people can find a perfect job or a perfect employee. Let’s the people discover this amazing and well-made website in order to help people who are in the drones sector.

The new fireworks made by drones in China

The new fireworks made by drones in China

In this video, it is possible to observe 1,374 synchronized drones making an outstanding performance in the sky above the wall of the ancient city Xi’an. This wonder seems that it took place the 2nd of May of 2018 at night.

The men behind that fantastic demonstration are from a Chinese company of drones called EHang Egret, which made this possible. Thanks to that, they broke a Guinness Record of “Most unmanned aerial vehicles flying simultaneously”, with the mentioned number of 1,374 drones.

The way they achieved that feat consists a software that can control every single drone individually but in “hive” too. Trying to do it with people controlling each drone would be most probably undoable.

Maybe, we are viewing the fireworks of the future.

The upgrading of drones market

As we have been claiming in other news in Edudrone, the world of drones is getting incredibly large not only in countries such as United States or China, but in Spain and in the European Union too. That increase is big enough to talk about it in a single new at least.

One of the most important companies of drones in Spain is FuVex. It is specialized in making drones, and its founder is Carlos Matilla, who insists in the attention that drones will take in the forward decades. The development of the drone sector comes mainly from the United States, and nowadays it has arrived to Europe.

Regarding statistics, the number of drones has been increasing continuously since 2000. Furthermore, it is expected that there will be 53500 drones in 2050. We can appreciate in this point how important the drones market is truly. Here a graph that demonstrate how the number of drones have grown wildly until our days:

Graph 1

In conclusion, having the drones piloting course will allow people to get nearby to this sector, which undoubtedly will gain importance every year.

The danger behind the bad use of drones

WMCH Drone

The video exposed in our social network is disturbing at the very least. In it we see how a drone crashes against the wing of an airplane. According to what the girl says in the video (“Bye, New York”), it seems to be New York City in 2015, year of publishing of the video.

If we read the comments, all of theme claim that it is a fake video. It can be, but the main thing is not that. The true issue is: ¿can it be possible? ¿Is that a proof of what a shock between a drone and an airplane can cause? Even though I am not an expert finding fake videos, it does not seem to me like that. La Sexta has published a new about how painful can be a drone to a plane. Here the link: (https://bit.ly/2OPnnh3). In this new we can find a video where engineers affirm that a drone can provocate such damage.

In conclusion, as we saw in the new about drones’ law, it is not allowed flying a drone in an aerial traffic zone. We must be aware about how dangerous can be ignoring the legal limitations of flying in areas of frequent aerial traffic. Therefore, let’s be responsable and cautious with the using of drones.

Drones help in Spanish reforestation

It is a fact that fires are the main enemy of woods. In Spain, since 2001 to 2015, there have been 82.543 fires that have calcined one or more hectares. This statistic is disturbing for all people.

Due to it, CO2 Revolution is a company founded by Juan Carlos Sesma in order to fight against fire consequences and deforestation. It has begun in summer of 2018 because of many fires that attempted to the forest security of the Natural Park of the High Tajo, Guadalajara.

Their project consists of using special seeds that have been removed their latency phase so that they can root as soon as possible, reaching an 80% of success. These seeds are wrapped by a capsule that contains the needed nutrients for growing in well conditions. By selecting different kinds of plants, the team of CO2 Revolution achieve to create a diverse and complete vegetal ecosystem wherever they fall. When the Iseeds are ready, they are tracked in drones and spreaded above zones that otherwise would be inaccessible for human being.

With this method, 100.000 trees can be planted in a day thanks to information from the Big Data, smart seeds and drones. In so doing, each drone can throw 2.500 seeds with one battery charge, which is a considerable number.

Drones for aerial artistic design

Everybody imagined that a drone could fly and enjoy children, but who would ever think to make a picture from the sky with almost 1000 drones would be possible? Now we know it is.

The weekly magazine Time of United States proposed to innovate with a spectacular picture executed by 958 drones. At the end of May of 2018, they took a photograph meant to be the cover of a special edition about the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and other themes such as the frontier between the United States and Mexico, scientific application

of drones and the use of them in the audiovisual industry.

The site where this exhibition took place was Folsom, California at night. As we can see in the following video, in which the experts involved in this project talk about it, some commentaries claim that it was illegal to fly drones at night. This issue reflects the need for making a clear legal code that allows pilots and drones companies to develop this sector that undoubtedly hides inside one of the keys of future technology.

To sum it all up, it is possible to focus on the point that drones have been used with an artistic and design goal. Here you have the video. A picture is worth a thousand words, and a video even worthier.

Drones will come along with us this summer

Surely, many people will enjoy this summer by visiting new cities or stale towns. Nevertheless, taking a car and watching fines out will be necessary to do it.

In Spain, five drones have been thrown into the air so that car drivers don’t exceed the speed limit. The models and number of these drones that will observe Spanish roads are one Phantom 2, one Phantom 4 Pro, one Matrice 200 and two S900, according to the ABC newspaper information. This decision has been taken by the General Direction of Traffic (DGT in Spanish), at whose head is the interior minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska.

                                             Drone S900

The roads that will be monitored by drones are mainly conventional roads because this kind of routes has an 80% of deaths by car. For this reason, having guarding roads by drones has been required by the GDT. Furthermore, the periods of time in which the activity of these drones is going to be high is weekends, and in the 14th and 15th of August, due to many celebrations in some localities that will make traffic rise.

In conclusion, here it is a fact that proves drones are taking new and different functions in society, even some of them can save lives. Be careful when you drive!

Drones to see jellyfish

Nowadays, the most attractive uses of drones are related to the audiovisual domain – taking pictures, filming planes for Hollywood’s latest blockbuster or an image gallery of an Ed Sheeran concert. However, the use of drones can save lives. This application is being used in Valencia. An infestation of some species of jellyfish, among which the Portuguese man o’ war abounds, threatens Mediterranean Spanish coastline. Through the utilization of cameras paired with the drone, it is possible to identify which zones are affected by these migrations of jellyfish that come from the Caribbean, Atlantic Ocean and even Australia. When they are sighted, taking them away, a task which in itself requires time and effort, becomes so much easier. This is proof of the multiple uses that drone currently

Spanish drones law part 2

In the video Ley 2018 para uso recreativo de drones en España de “FPV Competición” we find some general conditions that law binds us to fulfill:

  • We must fly far from buildings and agglomerations.
  • You must fly during the day and under appropriate meteorological conditions.
  • The drone must remaine within viusal range of the driver.
  • You must keep an appropriate distance from objects and give priority to other aircrafts.
  • In a non-controlled aerial zone, flying is permitted, so long as a minimun distance of 8km is kept from airports or airfields.
  • Flying is permitted at night if your drone weighs less than 2 kg and has a maximum height of 50 m.
  • If an FPV device is used, the driver must have a viewer and the drone must always remain within their visual range.

Regarding the weight of drones, there are three types:

Less than 250 g or little drones:

  • It is possible to fly above buildings and agglomerations if the drone does not 20 m in height.
  • If there are no people or buildings, you can fly the drone up to 50 m high.
  • You can fly at night up to 20m high.

More than 250 g and less than 2 kg:

  • It is not possible to fly above buildings or people.
  • You can fly in adequate areas, in a non-controlled zone and while keeping a distance of 8 km from airports and airfields.
  • At night it is possible to fly, as long as there is no flight above buildings or people, at a maximum altitude of 50 m.

More than 2 kg: with these kinds of drones, we find the ones that in general terms are used for professional activities, which doesn’t correspond to this report about recreational usage of drones.

Anyway, drivers recommend having a civil responsibility insurance regardless of the weight of the drone that we pilot. With this information about the Royal Ordinance of 2018 of the flight and piloting of drones in Spain, you will be able to fly almost wherever you want without fear of being fined. Happy flying!

Spanish law legislation part 1

Where can I fly my drone? Can I be fined if I do it? Which conditions exist for me to be able to use the drone and in which circumstances?

Surely these questions are some of the many that arise among drone owners. This report addresses the most important points to take into account if we want to fly our drones inside the framework of Spanish law, which can be applied to the European law
generally.

Firstly, there is a distinction that must be made between professional and recreational use. This report focuses on the latter. As taught in the video Normativa drones 2018 Real Decreto of “josedrones y tecnología”, the first steps were taken with the Royal Ordinance 8/2014 of 4th of July and law 18/2014 of 15th of October. These steps opened the door to the legal regulatory framework of drone use for recreational and professional purposes.

Now, with the Royal Ordinance of 2018, one of the requirements is carrying out an aeronautic study of the activity that is going to be done and the AESA (in Spanish: Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea, in English: Statewide Agency of Aerial Security) has to confirm that activity. With that license it is possible to fly:

  1. In populated areas
  2. Above agglomerations of people
  3. In aerial restricted zones
  4. At night

In the case of  flight in aerial restricted zones, the driver has to have some certifiable formation in piloting drones. Otherwise, it is  illegal.

Job in drones world

If you are a driver or a company of drones and look for work or employees, this is your site.

Nowadays, the sector of drones is growing up like a fire in a wood. For this reason, today we bring you an analysis of one of the latest job websites in the world of drones: JobToDron. This is a web platform for facilitating the gathering between the supply and demand of the drones sector. It has a mobile-app version and a computer version and both of them have a very cool, fresh and attractive style, and its main language is Spanish. The goal of this new is zooming in the JobToDron website step by step in order to demonstrate how it works and how easy finding a new job can be.

The main page of the app version will ask us for notifications from JobToDron and our geolocation to suggest us better jobs. After that, the site is split into 10 principle nodes of navigation, six of them are meant to allow the registration and access to their JobToDron account to drivers, operators and companies. The other four are “Rate”, “Opinions”, “Contact” and “Social”. The important information about how much cost each possibility of a contract is ubicated in “Rate”. “Opinions” has only two commentaries, but it is understandable, because the site has not taken so long in time. Based in the dates of some commentaries and notifications of JobToDron has been born in June of 2018. “Contact” gives a formulary for fulfilling it, but doesn’t appear other ways of communication with the company, at least in this node. And “Social” takes the user to the accounts in Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.

If you want to know more about JobToDron, clicking in “Company Registration” (“Registro Empresas” in Spanish) is necessary to access to subnodes ubicated in the upside of the website. Among them, we can find information about how JobToDron works and why. According to the explanation about themselves, the authors claim that the goal of this site is making easier the encounter between companies and drivers of drones, and that includes an economic facility. That means that every user of an account in JobToDrone can benefit from main services without purchasing anything.

Concluding with the app version of the JobToDrone website, knowing who is behind this groovy initiative is relevant, so they are Óscar Domínguez (CTO and Developer), Santiago Valero (CEO and Cofounder) and Javier Pérez (CMO and Cofounder). However, accessing by the computer version is recommendable, because it is more clear and navigation is easier, as we will see in the Part 2 of the new.
